-Take time out and treat yourself to whatever you like: a luxurious bubble bath, a night out with your friends, a good book etc. In your busy schedule, make sure that you allocate yourself time to relax. Spoil yourself by having a daily treat and take time to really enjoy it.

-Connect with nature as studies have shown that this can defeat stress. You could, for example, go for long country or coastal walks.

-Have hobbies and make time for them.

-Sing your favourite uplifting song! It does not matter if you can sing or not, just do it and you will soon feel better.

-Watch a comedy. Laughing is a great way to relieve depression, tension and anxiety.

-To relieve tension accumulated during the day, start my massaging your temples. Then, apply pressure to your scalp with all your fingers, making small rotations, just as if you were washing your hair.

-During holidays and at weekends, don’t worry about the time. You could even remove your watch to give you a break from rushing around all the time.
